1 Day of Signalperson training – followed by
1 Day of Rigger Level I training – followed by
1 Day of Rigger Level II
Exams are on day 4 for certification
Signalperson training includes: Hands on training, Basic crane capacity, Personnel platform usage, Dangers of high voltage, Detailed voice command application, Detailed hand signal application, Understanding backward stability, Basic crane operation and Evaluation written exam.
Rigger Level I & II training includes: Hands on training, Pre-use rigging inspection, Use of various types of rigging equipment and basic hitches and their applications, Identify and attach rigging with basic knowledge of hitch configurations – capacities – and basic knots, Recognize associated hazards, Basic knowledge of load weight – center of gravity – and rigging for rigging certification, Signaling operations and Evaluation exam.
